Noosa Wedding Photography DIY Sunshine Coast Wedding - Aimee & David
DIY Sunshine Coast Wedding
There was once a young girl that lived at the end of my street. She and her brother and sisters used to play with my kids. The years passed and that young girl named Aimee, grew into a stunning young lady. Recently she married an awesome guy named David with an awesome beard. Actually all of the groomsmen had pretty awesome beards. (Yes beards were a prerequisite of being in the bridal party).
None of the gorgeous girls had any facial hair, which was really lucky but they all wore really pretty pink dresses. Dresses that looked so good in all of the wedding photos. They carried beautiful bouquets made by "Blooms of Noosa".
Friends and family help create a stunning DIY wedding
This awesome DIY wedding took place with the wedding ceremony being held at Wirreanda Park on top of Buderim. David and Aimee's friends chipped in with decorating and three little flower girls aka Amaya, Chinta and Zali lead Aimee down the aisle. Josh Usher conducted a really beautiful wedding ceremony with a large gathering of family and friends watching on.
Once formal family photos had concluded I dragged this fantastic bridal party on an adventure, through fields with waist high grass, and over muddy ground. Pushing through pine forest trees, ducking under spider webs, driving, driving, driving, then hiking up a mountain for photos. Just after sunset we hiked back down before we finally headed off to the wedding reception.
Again a group of awesome friends and family along with the Bride, Groom and the Bridal party had pitched in to decorate the Noosa Christian Outreach Church at Noosaville. I swear that there must have been a lot of cranky old ladies in Noosa searching for jars to put their jams and pickles in because every single one was to be found decorating the wedding reception. It really did look pretty though!
One of the best ideas for catering that I have ever seen at a wedding was the wood fired pizza oven baking the yummiest fresh, hot pizzas for all of the guests and I am also a total sucker for a lollie bar and Aimee and David's was the best. I found it super hard to select which jar I wanted when I left but luckily I had my trusty assistant and bag holder (my daughter Ella) with me so we at least got two different types.
Congratulations David and Aimee <3
